These QUOTES with their respective Bible chapters, will help youth look up and learn significant passages from the Bible. KJV

1. Proverbs 16:3

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
Relation to Corinthians:
Reflects 1 Corinthians 15:58:
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
Both passages encourage dedicating our actions to God, with the assurance of His guidance and purpose.

2. Psalm 119:11

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Relation to Corinthians:
Mirrors 2 Corinthians 3:3:
"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart."
Both verses highlight the importance of keeping God’s word close to our hearts to guide us in righteousness.

3. Isaiah 40:31

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Relation to Corinthians:
Ties to 2 Corinthians 4:16:
"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."
Both verses remind us of God’s strength, renewal, and sustaining power.

4. Micah 6:8

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"
Relation to Corinthians:
Aligns with 1 Corinthians 10:31:
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
Both passages instruct us to live humbly, justly, and to honor God in all we do.

1. I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD. You must not have any other god but Me.

2. You must not make or worship any idol or any image.

3. Do not use My name as a swear word.

4. The Sabbath Day (Friday evening at sundown to Saturday at sundown), belongs to Me....KEEP IT HOLY. It is a day of rest.

5. Respect and obey your father and your mother.

6. Do not murder.

7. Be loyal to the person you are married to.

8. Do not take other people's things. (steal)

9. Do not lie on other people.

10. Do not long for something that belongs to someone else.

HOW CAN I BE BORN AGAIN?

If you would like to be born again, that is, to be born into God's family, read through the list below. Then pray to the Lord in your own words, asking Him to make your heart new.

BELIEVE that you have sinned against God, and that Jesus can save you! (see Romans 3:22-24).

ASK Jesus to forgive you, and to make your heart clean. (see Romans 10:9-10 and Psalm 51:2).

TRUST JESUS to free you from your sinful habits and give you a new life that goes on forever. (see Romans 6:22-23).

TELL JESUS that you want to follow Him, and that you want Him "TO BE LORD OF YOUR LIFE". (see John 12:26).
